Holland Center's young adult division, Holland Life Plus+, is seeking Behavior Therapists / Level 1 and Level 2 EIDBI Providers to join our established, Twin Cities-based program, working one-on-one or in groups with young adults with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) using Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). As a Behavior Therapist, you will be trained to provide ABA and/or EIDBI services to a diverse caseload of 6-12 clients ages 18-21.Example Duties:
Promote and implement individualized treatment plan programming with a diverse caseload in the areas of: communication, vocation, daily living skills, behavior management, individual and group leisure skills, and recreational outings Support clients while in the community Collect data regarding all individualized treatment programming in order to monitor progress and lack of progress in order to then implement program changes as directed Participate in weekly team meetings to discuss new programming, changes to programming, share thoughts and ideas, and receive continuing education Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge in the fieldBehavior Therapist Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Candidates must qualify as a Level 1 or Level 2 EIDBI provider and provide sufficient documentation for verification of status Candidates must pass a criminal background check Candidates must be interested in working with adults with ASD Candidates must possess interpersonal skills to be playful, enthusiastic, and bring a high level of energy into the therapy situation Candidates must be able to develop an effective rapport with clients and client caregivers Candidates must have the ability to read written treatment directions, collect numeric data, and summarize the results; in addition, strong writing skills to document treatment sessions are required Candidates must be willing to work well with a team and comply with supervisory direction Possess patience, empathy, integrity, flexibility, caring, and compassionBehavior Therapist Benefits:
We offer a competitive benefits package including: Starting rates for a Level 1 EIDBI provider ranging from $27.00 to $30.00 an hour with hourly rates determined by qualifications and performance-based pay Starting rates for a Level 2 EIDBI provider ranging from $25.00 to $27.00 an hour with hourly rates determined by qualifications and performance-based pay Training rates range from $25.00 an hour determined by qualifications A minimum of 23 days off per year ; includes 15 days of PTO and 8 paid holidays with multiple opportunities each month to win additional PTO days Comprehensive training on ABA through rewarding hands-on experience in a collaborative upbeat team environment Paid Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) training, supervision, and examination fees Paid supervision for those pursuing certification as a BCBA or BCaBA Opportunities for advancement as soon as after 90 days in the position Health insurance plan options including medical, dental, and vision, subject to eligibility and the terms and conditions of such plans 401K enrollment option with employer matching Sign-on and referral bonus program Holland Life Plus+ welcomes qualified students from several universities nationwide who are enrolled in Master's-level programs in Applied Behavior Analysis. Employees of Holland Center who are enrolled as a student in the Master's program or Graduate Certificate program in Behavior Analysis through Florida Institute of Technology may be eligible to receive a discounted tuition rate through FIT's Education Partner program. Students in pursuit of degrees or those who have a degree in ABA or a related field are offered paid Supervised Fieldwork and/or Concentrated Supervised Fieldwork from our team of experienced BCBAs as they work toward eligibility to sit for certification as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) or Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst (BCaBA).About Holland Center:

Candidates must qualify as a Level 1 or Level 2 EIDBI provider and provide sufficient documentation for verification of status, as defined by theMinnesota Department of Human Services:
For a Level1 EIDBI provider, the qualifications ("standard criteria") include either completing : i) at least 2,000 hours of supervised clinical experience and/or training in the examination and/or treatment of people with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) or a related condition; or ii) the equivalent in graduate-level coursework at an accredited university, plus meeting at least one of the following requirements : Have a doctoral or master's degree from an accredited college or university in behavioral health, child development or a related field; Be a Board Certified Behavior Analyst-Doctoral (BCBA-D) or a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) through the Behavior Analyst Certification Board, Inc. (BACB); Have a bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in behavioral health, child development or a related field; Be a Board Certified assistant Behavior Analyst (BCaBA) through the BACB and have 4,000 hours of supervised clinical experience that meets all registration, supervision and continuing education requirements of the certification; or Meet the requirements for a provider shortage variance one or two. For a Level 2 EIDBI provider, the qualifications ("standard criteria") include meeting at least one of the following sets of requirements : Have a bachelor's degree plus one of the following: i) at least 1,000 hours of clinical experience, ii) completion of qualifying graduate level coursework, iii) be a Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst (BCaBA) through the Behavior Analyst Certification Board, Inc. (BACB), (iv) be a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) through the BACB, or v) be certified in one of the other treatment modalities recognized by DHS; Have both i) an associate's degree, and ii) at least 2,000 hours of supervised clinical experience; Have at least 4,000 hours of supervised clinical experience delivering treatment to people with ASD or a related condition; Be both i) a graduate student in specific programs, and ii) formally assigned by an accredited college or university to an EIDBI provider for training; or Meet the requirements for a provider shortage variance one or two.Work Location:
