Job Description

Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) Full-Time, Days Recovery Syndicate - Chandler AZ $20 hour - $25 hour Recovery Syndicate is hiring a compassionate and dependable Behavioral Health Technician (BHT/PRSS) to join our team as soon as possible. This is a hands-on role for someone who wants to make a real difference in the lives of people in our community who are wanting to make a change. As a BHT, you will work directly with clients, support the clinical team, help maintain a safe and positive environment, and encourage clients throughout their treatment process. Job Duties Assist with client admissions, intakes, screening tools, consents, and required paperwork Observe and document client behavior, progress, and changes in condition Support clients with coping skills, life skills, and recovery-focused activities Help clients connect with resources such as housing, employment, healthcare, and recovery support Encourage clients to stay engaged in treatment and understand the importance of completing their program Assist with group and individual activities as directed by the treatment team Respond calmly and professionally during crisis situations Follow safety protocols and complete Environment of Care and operational logs Complete accurate progress notes and incident reports on the same day of service Work closely with clinical and operations staff to provide quality client care Assist with client transportation when needed What We're Looking For The ideal candidate is someone who is: Compassionate, reliable, and team-oriented Comfortable working with individuals in recovery Calm and professional during stressful situations A clear communicator with healthy boundaries Respectful of people from all backgrounds Organized and able to complete documentation accurately Willing to step in and help wherever needed Requirements Candidates must meet one of the following: High school diploma or GED and at least 1 year of behavioral health experience Associate's degree with at least 18 behavioral health-related credits and 6 months of field experience Bachelor's or master's degree in a behavioral health-related field (preferred) Additional requirements: Fingerprint Clearance Card & CPR and First Aid certification Physical Requirements Ability to stand, walk, bend, climb stairs, and lift up to 25 pounds Ability to speak and hear clearly Ability to drive and operate standard office equipment Why Work at Recovery Syndicate?
