Job Description

If you love helping others reach their full potential, we want to meet you. The Role As a Behavior Intervention Specialist, you are the "boots on the ground" for the individuals we support. You will work one-on-one with individuals to help them replace challenging behaviors with positive social skills. You don't need to be an expert on day one; you'll work under the guidance of our Qualified Intellectual Disabilities Professionals (QIDPs). What You'll Do Work as a
Team Player:
Collaborate with the team too implement behavior support plans (BSP) and Outcome Plans (OPs) created by the QIDPs. Time will be spent with the individuals in their homes, at their jobs and at the Welles Career Center. Follow the
Plan:
Use specific techniques (like positive reinforcement) to help individuals navigate their daily routines.
Track Progress:
Collect and graph behavioral data as instructed by the QIDPs to assist in assessing progress and modifying behavior plans. Be a
Role Model:
Show up with high energy and a positive attitude to encourage the individual's growth on a daily basis.
What We're Looking For Education:
High School Diploma or GED (required).
Reliability:

You are patient, adaptable, and stay calm when things get stressful.
Communication:
You can explain things clearly and take feedback well from your supervisors.
Requirements:

Pay:
$25.00 - $26.00 per hour
