Category Schools - Behavior Specialist Job Type Contract Make an immediate impact supporting students as a Behavior Specialist in a dynamic school environment near Madison, AL! This contract opportunity is ideal for professionals passionate about helping students achieve success through positive behavioral interventions and collaborative strategies. In this role, you'll work closely with educators, staff, and families to implement effective behavior support plans and provide guidance tailored to individual student needs.
Desired Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or higher in Psychology, Education, Behavioral Science, or a related field Certification or licensure as a Behavior Specialist (or ability to obtain) Prior experience in a school setting with behavioral intervention and support Strong understanding of PBIS, behavioral assessment, and evidence-based strategies Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to develop rapport with students, staff, and families from diverse backgrounds Flexibility to adapt plans and approaches based on student progress
Key Responsibilities:
