Job Description

Institute for Applied Behavior Analysis (IABA) has provided behavioral health services across California for over 40 years. We are a mission-driven organization committed to delivering high-quality Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services while building compassionate and efficient workplaces. IABA is seeking compassionate and motivated Part-Time Behavior Specialists to support individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in achieving their goals through individualized, evidence-based support. The ideal candidate demonstrates integrity, respect, professionalism, and a positive attitude while maintaining high standards of ethical practice.
Schedule:
Part-time hours (varies by case) Evening and weekend availability required
Responsibilities:
Develop teaching protocols and train support staff on implementation Participate in the implementation of individualized Behavior Support Plans Design and implement integrated curriculum plans Conduct field visits and provide ongoing case support Complete documentation and report writing in a timely manner Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams Perform other related duties as assigned Available Locations We are currently hiring in:

Bachelor's degree in Special Education, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field Strong written and verbal communication skills Experience with report writing Experience working with individuals with intellectual disabilities and/or mental health needs Experience supporting individuals with challenging behaviors
Requirements:
Reliable, operable vehicle Valid California Driver's License Current auto insurance First Aid/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain) Ability to pass a Live Scan background check Ability to physically assist clients when needed (e.g., transfers, mobility support)
