Position Summary:

The Pre-Weigh Technician is responsible for accurately measuring and preparing ingredients for production batches. This role ensures all materials are weighed according to formulas and ready for blending while maintaining food safety and quality standards. Key Responsibilities Accurately weigh and measure ingredients using scales based on batch sheets or recipes Stage and organize ingredients for production in the correct order Verify lot numbers, materials, and quantities before use Maintain proper documentation and production records Supply pre-weighed ingredients to blending/mixing teams in a timely manner Monitor inventory levels and communicate shortages Follow all food safety standards (GMP, HACCP, sanitation practices) Keep the pre-weigh area clean, organized, and audit-ready Assist with equipment setup, cleaning, and changeovers as needed
