Job Description
Job Summary REM is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Bilingual Payroll and Invoicing Clerk to support payroll processing, client invoicing, and administrative operations within a fast-paced employment/staffing environment. The ideal candidate is fluent in English and Spanish, possesses strong communication skills, and can accurately manage payroll and billing functions while providing excellent service to employees and clients.
Working hours:
Monday-Friday 8:30am-5pm. Key Responsibilities Process weekly payroll for temporary and contract Review timesheets for accuracy and resolve discrepancies with employees, supervisors, or clients Prepare and issue client invoices in a timely and accurate manner Maintain payroll records, billing files, and employee documentation in compliance with company policies and labor regulations Respond to employee and client inquiries regarding payroll, pay rates, deductions, invoices, and payment status Assist with onboarding paperwork, employment verifications, and administrative support tasks Reconcile payroll reports, invoices, and accounting records Coordinate with recruiters, account managers, and accounting staff to ensure accurate billing and payroll processing Track unpaid invoices and assist with collections follow-up when needed Translate or interpret payroll and employment-related information for bilingual employees and clients Ensure confidentiality of employee and financial information at all times Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree in accounting, business, or related field preferred Previous experience in payroll, billing, invoicing, staffing, or administrative support preferred Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish required (written and verbal) Knowledge of payroll systems, invoicing software, and Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel Strong attention to detail and accuracy with numbers and data entry Excellent organizational and time-management skills Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment Understanding of employment/staffing industry practices is a plus Strong customer service and communication skills Proficient knowledge of QBO Preferred Skills Experience with staffing or workforce management software Familiarity with labor laws, payroll taxes, and overtime regulations Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively Problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills Work Environment Office-based position May require occasional overtime during payroll processing periods Frequent communication with employees, clients, and internal departments Compensation & Benefits Competitive hourly pay or salary based on experience Health, dental, and vision insurance Paid time off and holidays Opportunities for advancement and professional development STD, Life AD&D, Hospitalization & Accident Insurance For immediate consideration apply today.EOE Job Type:
