Job Description

Job Summary We are a woman-owned law firm seeking a dedicated and experienced Elder Law Attorney to join our reputable firm. The ideal candidate will provide expert legal counsel in estate planning and estate administration, including asset distribution, end-of-life planning and handling probate for deceased clients, while working in a collaborative and supportive environment. Duties Advise clients on estate planning strategies, including wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and advanced directives Assist clients with Medicaid planning and long-term care options Represent clients in guardianship proceedings Draft legal documents with precision and clarity Conduct legal research Negotiate settlements and advocate for clients in disputes involving elder abuse, financial exploitation, or other elder-related issues Collaborate with colleagues within the law firm to develop case strategies and ensure comprehensive client service Attend court hearings as required to advocate effectively on behalf of clients Requirements Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school and admission to the state bar At least two year's experience in elder law Strong knowledge of estate planning/administration, Medicaid laws and guardianship procedures Strong drafting and writing skills with attention to detail Exceptional communication skills with the ability to explain legal concepts clearly to clients Join our team of dedicated legal professionals committed to providing exceptional service in elder law matters while upholding the highest standards of integrity and professionalism.
