The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills and a hands-on attitude. Bilingual English/Spanish is required. Responsibilities Oversee daily maintenance operations for the apartment community Diagnose and complete repairs including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, appliances, carpentry, and general maintenance Ensure vacant units are turned and ready for new move-ins Coordinate with property management regarding work orders and resident concerns Maintain clean and organized maintenance shops and work areas Maintain safety standards by adhering to all regulatory guidelines related to electrical work, welding, and general facilities upkeep. Qualifications Bilingual English/Spanish required Minimum 3 years apartment maintenance experience required Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and appliance repair HVAC certification preferred Ability to troubleshoot and solve maintenance issues independently Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work outdoors when necessary Strong work ethic, professionalism, and customer service skills Compensation & Benefits Competitive hourly pay based on experience (DOE) On-call and overtime opportunities Paid holidays and PTO Opportunities for growth and advancement Schedule Full-time Monday-Friday On-call rotation required
