Position Overview:

The Chiropractic Assistant's (CA) primary responsibility is to assist the doctor. The CA will be well-versed in all treatments and modalities used within the practice, explaining their purpose and application clearly to patients and with potential patients (as needed). As the doctor's go-to person for patient care and progress, the CA will assist the doctor in overseeing the patient journey from start to finish. This CA will track patient progress throughout the treatment cycle. The CA will ensure an exceptional patient experience by coordinating services in the treatment plan alongside the doctor, monitoring progress, and periodically checking in with patients. Ideal candidate- Bilingual Spanish - English Well groomed and professional looking Pleasing, outgoing/engaging and warm personality Responsive Proficient in Microsoft Office Organized Reliable transportation Physically able to repeatedly assist patients into position for therapy if needed Punctual/reliable attendance Takes initiative Able to multi task Willing to train on clinical assistant duties & perform those duties as needed Greet and assist patients in both languages, ensuring a warm, professional experience from check-in to check-out Prepare patients for examinations by explaining procedures, positioning them appropriately, and ensuring comfort throughout visits Manage electronic health record (EHR) systems efficiently, documenting patient interactions, treatment plans, and ICD (International Classification of Diseases) coding for billing purposes Assist with administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments, verifying insurance information, and managing patient flow to minimize wait times Maintain clinic cleanliness and organize supplies, X-ray equipment, and medical tools necessary for daily operations Support emergency procedures when needed by having knowledge of basic life support (BLS) protocols and emergency response procedures Can work the following hours:

MWF:

7am-1:30, sometimes until 2:00pm.

Tues & Thurs:

11:45-7, sometimes until 7:30pm. Experience Prior healthcare environment experience is helpful, but not necessary Familiarity with medical terminology, anatomy knowledge, physiology concepts, and medication administration enhances your ability to support clinical staff effectively is very helpful, however, not necessary. Experience using EHR systems and understanding ICD coding improves documentation accuracy and billing processes - helpuful, however, not necesssary. Previous roles involving patient service or intake procedures demonstrate your ability to communicate clearly and compassionately in multiple languages. Current staff includes assistants that have been w/ us for 13+ years and 5+ years. We work hard and have many longstanding wonderful relationships w/ our patients!
