Job Description
Wellspring Health is an infusion and injection therapy provider. Wellspring provides convenient and affordable access to infusion therapy for patients. We are looking for the ideal candidate to grow our presence in the regions we serve. We're seeking a detail-oriented, patient-centric professional to own day-to-day billing operations for our outpatient infusion center while providing office administration support to keep the clinic running smoothly. You'll manage claims submission, follow-up and collections—and jump in to support scheduling, front desk coverage, and general office coordination as needed. This role is ideal for someone who loves solving problems, working cross-functionally with clinical teams, and improving processes. Key Responsibilities
- Billing & Revenue Cycle (Primary): Charge capture & coding, claims submission, payer authorization, AR management, patient billing, compliance, and reporting.
- Office Administration (Secondary): Front desk & scheduling support, referral & authorization coordination, supply & vendor coordination, documentation & records, team communication.
- 2+ years of medical billing experience in outpatient, specialty, or ambulatory settings (infusion, oncology, rheumatology, or similar preferred).
- Working knowledge of CPT/HCPCS, ICD-10, and payer rules for infusion services.
- Experience with prior authorization workflows and denial management.
- Proficiency with practice management/EHR systems and clearinghouses.
- Strong Excel or reporting skills; ability to analyze AR and denial trends.
- Excellent communication skills; strong customer service orientation.
- Commitment to confidentiality and HIPAA compliance.
- Certified Professional Coder (CPC, COC) or Certified Professional Biller (CPB) or equivalent.
- Experience with specialty pharmacy coordination and buy-and-bill models.
- Prior work in an outpatient infusion center, oncology practice, or hospital OP department.
Schedule:
Full-time, Monday-Friday (some flexibility aligned to clinic hours); occasional coverage needs during peak times. Wellspring Health is an infusion and injection therapy provider.
