Billing / Chiropractic Assistant

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Chiropractic Assistant. The ideal candidate will play a role in providing exceptional patient service and billing within our chiropractic practice. This position requires a mild understanding of anatomy, as well as the ability to submit billing to insurance companies. Responsibilities Greet and assist patients upon arrival, conversate and provide a welcoming environment. Verify insurance co-pays and deductibles. Assist the chiropractor during patient assessments and treatment sessions if needed. Maintain accurate patient records, including billing through Chirofusion EHR. Assist in delivering patient's treatment plans, exercises, and wellness strategies. Ensure the clinic is clean, organized, and well-stocked with necessary supplies. Schedule appointments and manage patient follow-ups effectively. Requirements Strong patient service skills with a positive attitude and a good sense of humor. Knowledge of anatomy to assist in patient assessments effectively. (or willingness to learn) Ability to learn medical terminology that is essential for billing and record-keeping. Ability to perform intake procedures efficiently when needed. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact with patients and staff.
