Join our dynamic team at Sports Imaging Centers LLC as a Billing Specialist! In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring accurate billing processes while contributing to our mission of providing exceptional imaging services in Ft Pierce, FL.

Responsibilities:

Process patient billing and insurance claims efficiently and accurately. Verify insurance eligibility and benefits for all patients. Communicate with patients regarding billing inquiries and payment options. Maintain accurate records of billing transactions and patient accounts. Collaborate with the healthcare team to resolve billing discrepancies. Stay updated on industry regulations and coding practices. Prepare and submit monthly financial reports to management. Assist in training new staff on billing procedures and software.

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent; associate's degree preferred. 2+ years of experience in medical billing or related field. Knowledge of medical coding (CPT, ICD-10) and billing software. Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills. Ability to communicate effectively with patients and healthcare professionals. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and billing software. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently. Professional demeanor and commitment to patient confidentiality.
