Job Description

Category Schools - BCBA Job Type Contract Step into a vital role supporting student success as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst for the upcoming 2026-2027 school year. This full-time, contract-based opportunity is designed for professionals passionate about empowering diverse learners across multiple grade levels. The schedule runs from August 19, 2026, to June 11, 2027, with standard hours from 8 am to 4 pm each weekday. In this position, you'll work across three to four sites within the district, collaborating with educational teams to create positive, effective behavioral interventions. Your expertise will be instrumental in shaping individualized behavior support plans, consulting with staff, and overseeing behavioral assessments and initiatives. Additionally, this role provides you the chance to supervise and mentor one to two Registered Behavior Technicians, further developing your leadership within the field.
Desired Qualifications:
Current Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification required. Experience conducting Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBAs) and developing Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs). Previous supervisory experience of RBTs or other behavior support staff preferred. Strong consultation skills and the ability to collaborate with diverse educational teams. Flexibility to work across multiple sites and grade levels. Excellent organizational and documentation abilities.
Primary Responsibilities:
Complete FBAs and create data-driven BIPs for assigned students. Consult with teachers and staff on behavior management strategies. Supervise and provide guidance to 1-2 RBTs. Monitor and document student progress and program effectiveness. Deliver training and support to school staff as needed.
