Bookkeeper

We are seeking a detail-oriented Bookkeeper to manage and maintain financial records for a diverse clientele including small businesses, corporations, individuals, and non-profits. This role involves accurate data entry, bank reconciliations, accounts payable and receivable management, comprehensive payroll processing including month-end and quarter-end reporting, and consistent communication with clients. The Bookkeeper will be an integral part of a small accounting team and occasionally visit client sites to ensure seamless financial operations. Proficiency in QuickBooks, Microsoft Excel, and related accounting software is essential. Responsibilities Perform accurate data entry of financial transactions Reconcile bank statements with company records Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes Process payroll and complete related month-end and quarter-end reports Communicate effectively with clients and support staff Maintain organization and accuracy in all financial documentation Provide administrative support to the accounting team Conduct occasional visits to client sites as needed Preferred Qualifications 3+ years of bookkeeping experience High school diploma or equivalent Proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel Experience with payroll processing and accounting software integrations Strong attention to detail and data accuracy Effective time management and organizational skills Excellent communication abilities
