$15 to $20 / hr. full time position About the Role Are you an experienced accounting professional with a knack for job costing and team leadership? TVS is looking for a detail-oriented Bookkeeper to establish and maintain our financial and job costing records. Reporting directly to the Controler, you will play a crucial role in our financial health by managing cash flow, overseeing daily accounting operations, and guiding a dedicated department of three or more employees. If you thrive in an active environment and have a strong background in high-volume bookkeeping, we would love to meet you. What You'll Do (Responsibilities)

Financial Management:

Maintain the General Ledger, balance accounts, and prepare monthly financial statements and weekly cashflow analyses.

Accounts Payable & Receivable:

Oversee customer billing, cash receipts, and collection activities, while verifying and distributing vendor invoices.

Job Costing & Payroll:

Update daily job costs, analyze estimated vs. actual expenses, and prepare company payroll and tax reports.

Team Leadership:

Guide, direct, and effectively coordinate a department of 3+ employees.

Customer Support:

Answer phones, perform secretarial duties, and provide excellent service to customers in the store. What We're Looking For (Requirements)

Must-Haves:

High school diploma or equivalent. 3+ years of bookkeeping/accounting experience in a business with sales exceeding $10 million per year. 3+ years of experience with QuickBooks Online. Demonstrated ability to effectively manage a department of 3 or more employees. Ability to read, analyze, and interpret financial reports.

Nice-to-Haves:

College degree in business, accounting, or a related field; CPA license is a major plus. 5+ years of bookkeeping experience specifically within the construction industry. Familiarity with Job Nimbus, ProKore, or BuilderTrend. Knowledge of classes and cost accounting. What We Offer (Rewards)
