Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented and energetic Bookkeeper to join our RV dealership team. In this role, you will help manage the dealership's financial records, maintain accurate accounting processes, and support the overall financial health of the business. Your work will play a critical role in helping maintain smooth day-to-day operations, supporting leadership with financial reporting, and ensuring accuracy across accounting functions. Responsibilities Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records using accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, Sage, Lightspeed, or similar platforms Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, including invoice processing and payment tracking Reconcile bank accounts, credit card statements, and general ledger accounts regularly Prepare and record journal entries while ensuring proper debits and credits are applied according to GAAP principles Conduct balance sheet reconciliations to ensure assets, liabilities, and equity accounts are accurately reported Assist with payroll processing, expense tracking, and tax-related documentation Generate financial reports including profit & loss statements, balance sheets, and operational reports for management review Support budgeting activities by analyzing revenue and expenses for consistency and accuracy Maintain organized accounting files and dealership financial records Collaborate with management and other departments to improve processes and maintain operational accuracy Assist auditors by providing documentation and financial data when needed Support dealership operations with additional administrative and accounting responsibilities as needed Qualifications Previous bookkeeping or accounting experience preferred Strong understanding of bookkeeping principles, GAAP standards, debits & credits, and account reconciliation processes Experience with QuickBooks, Xero, Sage, Lightspeed, or dealership accounting software preferred Ability to manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll support, and financial reporting Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment Strong communication and problem-solving skills High level of integrity, accountability, and professionalism Comfortable working independently while contributing positively to a team environment Prior dealership, public accounting, or technical accounting experience is a plus but not required Why Join ROA?
