7am-3:30pm QPS Employment is hiring an experienced Electrician for a reputable client in Ixonia, WI! • Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment, including motors, conveyors, and lighting
• Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues to minimize downtime
• Read and interpret electrical blueprints and schematics to ensure proper installation and repairs
• Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on electrical systems
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and electrical codes
• Collaborate with maintenance and production teams to address equipment and process needs
• Document work performed, including maintenance records and repair logs

Electrician Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Formal training or certification in electrical systems preferred
• Minimum 3 years of experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment, preferably in food production
• Knowledge of electrical systems ranging from 24 to 480 volts
• Proficiency in using hand tools, testing equipment, and diagnostic devices
• Strong understanding of safety protocols and electrical codes
• Primarily in a manufacturing environment with exposure to machinery, noise, and varying temperatures
• May involve working at heights, in confined spaces, or with electrical systems under power
• Personal protective equipment must be worn as required
