• K&S• is a privately held, financially sound and growing company seeking a Tool and Die Maker to join our team.

Located just off the interstate between Oconomowoc and Watertown Wisconsin.

We are a vertically-integrated contract metals manufacturer specializing in sheet metal fabrication.

Our manufacturing processes includes: laser cutting, brake forming, robotic and manual welding, stamping and machining.

This is a full-time position on 1st shift in a 100% air-conditioned facility.

• Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Plan, layout and perform machining operations and bench work to construct, alter andrepair intricately designed and constructed tools, dies, fixtures, and jigs, of closetolerances.

Perform difficult machining operations requiring complicated set-upsinvolving the improvising of tooling and machines for adaptations beyond the normalrange and capabilities of available equipment.

• Qualifications:

• Three to five years' experience.

Extensive computer knowledge (Solidworks experience is a must, 3d Quick Press, AutoCAD).Must be familiar with machining operation capabilities, metallurgy and heat treating.

Must understand the many types of machine tools and precision measuring instruments.

Capable of working in a team environment.

Must understand Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerances.

Blueprint reading and shop math required.
