In everything we do, we want visitors to Waters Run to feel calm, connected, and cared for. While we are not a luxury hotel, our goal is to make everything feel comfortable, effortless and high quality. The 12-room hotel occupies a historic farmhouse that was once part of the F. M. Woolworth estate. With views of an expansive meadow and Cobbossee Lake in the distance, guests are invited to relax and recharge both indoors and outdoors. Breakfast is an important part of our guests' stay, and we're looking for a friendly, reliable breakfast attendant to help ensure a smooth, pleasant morning service with minimal involvement in food preparation or cooking. Position Summary The Breakfast Attendant supports daily breakfast service by setting up the dining area, maintaining cleanliness, assisting guests during breakfast hours, and handling cleanup afterward. This role focuses on presentation, guest interaction, restocking, and sanitation rather than food preparation. The ideal candidate is attentive, organized, and enjoys creating a calm, welcoming morning environment for guests. Key Responsibilities Breakfast Setup & Service Support  Set up the breakfast dining area according to established standards.  Arrange and display prepared food items, beverages, dishes, and utensils as directed.  Monitor breakfast service to ensure food and beverage items remain stocked and presentable.  Greet guests, answer basic questions, and assist with seating or special requests (within role scope). Cleanliness & Sanitation  Maintain cleanliness of the dining area throughout breakfast service.  Clear tables, wash dishes, and sanitize surfaces following health and safety guidelines.  Dispose of trash and recyclables properly.  Reset the dining area after service. Inventory & Support Duties  Restock non-food supplies such as dishes, glassware, napkins, coffee cups, and condiments.  Notify management of low supplies or maintenance issues.  Assist with light kitchen or dining area organization. Guest Experience & Communication  Provide friendly, professional service to guests.  Communicate guest feedback or concerns to management promptly.  Follow all safety, sanitation, and workplace policies. Qualifications  Prior experience in hospitality, food service support, or customer service preferred but not required.  Strong attention to detail and cleanliness.  Friendly, courteous, and professional demeanor.  Ability to work independently during early morning hours.  Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.  Reliable and punctual with weekend and holiday availability as needed. Schedule & Compensation  Morning shifts only.  Weekends and holidays required.  Competitive hourly wage based on experience.
