Housekeeper

The Housekeeper is responsible for ensuring that all guest rooms and common areas are cleaned to company standards, organized, and inviting. This role includes routine cleaning, some laundry, and occasional guest interaction. The ideal candidate is reliable, hardworking, and enjoys working independently in a friendly, small team environment. Key Responsibilities  Clean and prepare guest rooms daily, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, removing trash, and sanitizing bathrooms.  Refresh linens, towels, and toiletries as needed.  Wash and dry items laundered in-house.  Maintain cleanliness in common areas (e.g., dining area, lounge, library, restrooms, hallways, entryways).  Restock cleaning and guest supplies as needed.  Report any maintenance or repair needs promptly.  Ensure all cleaning is performed to the highest standards and in line with health and safety regulations.  Assist the front desk in coordinating and meeting guest special requests.  Exhibit the highest consideration in maintaining guest privacy and security.  Follow all safety rules, report hazards, and maintain a safe working environment. Qualifications  Prior housekeeping or cleaning experience (hospitality experience preferred but not required).  Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.  Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.  Friendly, professional attitude with good communication skills.  Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and perform physical tasks (bending, reaching, carrying linens, etc.).  Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed. Schedule & Compensation  Flexible schedule; mornings and early afternoons.  Weekend and holiday availability required.  Competitive hourly wage based on experience.  Employer contributed health insurance for full-time employees.
