Handle food safely by following proper food handling procedures, sanitation standards, and safety regulations at all times. Set up workstations efficiently, ensuring all necessary ingredients, tools, and equipment are ready for service. Collaborate with the culinary team to coordinate meal preparation, ensuring timely delivery of orders during busy hours. Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area, including washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces, and organizing supplies for optimal workflow. Support catering or special event breakfast service as needed, demonstrating flexibility and teamwork. Qualifications Previous experience in a dietary department or dietary aide role is highly desirable, especially within a food service or healthcare setting. Strong background in food preparation, cooking techniques, and food safety practices within a restaurant or culinary environment. Demonstrated knife skills and proficiency in meal preparation for breakfast dishes such as eggs, pancakes, waffles, and other morning favorites. Experience with menu planning and catering services that emphasize quality presentation and flavor. Knowledge of food handling regulations and safety standards to ensure compliance at all times. Fine dining experience is a plus, showcasing attention to detail and high standards of service excellence.
