Duties Welcome guests with a friendly and professional demeanor, guiding them to their tables or assisting with reservations. Manage guest seating arrangements efficiently, balancing wait times and table availability. Take and relay accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS. Provide attentive service by answering questions about menu items, specials, and restaurant policies. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand and dining areas to ensure a pleasant environment. Support the serving staff by delivering orders promptly and assisting with guest needs as required. Uphold excellent phone etiquette when handling reservations, inquiries, or guest concerns over the phone. Skills Previous host/hostess experience in a fast-paced restaurant setting is highly preferred. Strong food service knowledge combined with exceptional customer service skills. Effective communication skills to interact confidently with guests and team members. Experience using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for order processing. Familiarity with restaurant operations, including guest relations and serving procedures. Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining a positive attitude. Professional hospitality demeanor with excellent phone etiquette and guest interaction skills.
