The Bar Harbor Inn and Spa is seeking a Breakfast Server to join our Reading Room Restaurant team, where you'll play an essential role in delivering a warm, inviting, and efficient start to each guest's day. In this role, you'll provide attentive breakfast service, take orders, and ensure guests enjoy a seamless dining experience in one of Bar Harbor's most iconic waterfront settings. Key Responsibilities:

+ Greet guests warmly and provide friendly, attentive breakfast service + Take food and beverage orders accurately and deliver in a timely manner + Maintain knowledge of menu items, daily specials, and dietary accommodations + Ensure tables are clean, set, and ready for guests at all times + Monitor guest needs and respond promptly to requests + Collaborate with kitchen and front-of-house team members to ensure smooth service flow + Assist with opening and closing duties, including setting up and breaking down the dining area + Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines

Skills & Requirements:

+ Previous serving or customer service experience preferred, but not required + Ability to work early mornings with a positive and energetic attitude + Strong communication and interpersonal skills + Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment + Friendly, dependable, and guest-focused mindset + Ability to carry trays and lift up to 30 lbs as needed + Ability to stand, walk, and move for extended periods
