Job Description

A highly respected heavy civil contractor with over 80 years of success is actively seeking a Bridge Superintendent to join their growing team. Known as a leading bridge builder in New England , this company has built a strong reputation for delivering complex infrastructure projects with excellence, safety, and integrity. This is an employee-owned (ESOP) company , offering you the opportunity to directly share in the company's success while building a long-term career with a stable and well-established contractor. Position Overview The Bridge Superintendent will be responsible for managing field operations on bridge construction projects from start to finish. This individual will lead crews, coordinate subcontractors, and ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, and within budget. Key Responsibilities Oversee all on-site bridge construction activities from mobilization through completion Manage crews, subcontractors, and daily field operations Ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies Coordinate schedules, materials, and equipment Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and stakeholders Maintain project timelines and quality standards Qualifications 5+ years of bridge construction experience in a superintendent or leadership role Proven "soup-to-nuts" experience managing bridge projects Strong knowledge of heavy civil construction practices Ability to lead teams and drive project performance Excellent communication and organizational skills Compensation & Benefits Competitive base salary Comprehensive benefits package Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP) - build wealth through company ownership Long-term stability with a strong project pipeline Opportunity to work with a top-tier bridge contractor
