Job Description

Overview Join our vibrant team as a Daycare Provider and become a vital part of creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for young children. In this role, you will deliver high-quality care that promotes early childhood development, supports individual needs, and fosters joyful learning experiences. Your enthusiasm and dedication will help children thrive physically, emotionally, and socially while ensuring their safety and well-being are always prioritized. Small In-home daycare with two teachers and 12 children max. Duties Provide attentive care to children across various age groups, including infants, toddlers, and preschoolers, ensuring their safety at all times. Develop and implement engaging activities that support childhood development milestones, including play-based learning, arts and crafts, storytime, and outdoor exploration. Maintain a clean, organized classroom environment that encourages independence and curiosity while adhering to health and safety standards. Monitor children's behavior using positive behavior management techniques to promote respectful interactions and emotional regulation. Communicate regularly with parents or guardians about their child's progress, needs, and any concerns that arise during the day. Administer basic first aid when necessary and respond promptly to any medical or behavioral emergencies with calm professionalism. Collaborate with team members to plan curriculum activities that align with early childhood education principles and special education needs when applicable. Qualifications Prior experience working with children in daycare, preschool, babysitting, nannying, or classroom settings is highly preferred. Knowledge of childhood development stages and best practices in early childhood education. Certification in first aid and CPR is required; additional training in special education or working with individuals with disabilities is a plus. Demonstrated classroom management skills with the ability to handle diverse behaviors effectively. Strong communication skills to foster positive relationships with children, parents, and team members. Ability to remain energetic, patient, attentive, and adaptable in a dynamic childcare environment. Experience caring for infants through preschool-aged children is desirable; familiarity with toddler care is especially valuable. Join us in making a meaningful difference in young lives!
