Job Description

  • Individuals make informed, un-coerced choices Essential Responsibilities and Job Duties Provide individual and group counseling for adults and children Provide advocacy services for SA and DV victims in the medical and criminal justice system Facilitate professional training & public education Represent the agency on committees and taskforces Promote the program to build public and institutional awareness and utilization Participate in on-call rotation Complete all necessary paperwork and documentation Other duties that support the mission of Quanada.
Qualifications Bachelor's Degree-Human Services or related field At least two years' experience in a human services field, including time spent serving children Ability to work as part of a collaborative team Passion and alignment with QUANADA's mission and values Willingness to commit to a self-care plan to mitigate harm from vicarious trauma Achievement of IL Certified DV Professional standing within 2 years of hire Completion of required counselor trainings through ICASA within 1 year of hire Applicants from diverse backgrounds encouraged to apply.
