We are the largest private provider of residential and community-based services for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) in the state of Kentucky. We are a local non-profit organization founded in 1970 by Louisville-area parents of people with IDD. Why you'll love working here: Opportunities for Year-End Bonus Weekly Pay Paid Time Off (PTO) Accrual Starts Day 1, PTO can be used after 60 days Health, Dental, Vision, and Life Insurance 401k retirement savings program What you'll do: The Administrator is the chief of staff and is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the ICF/IID residential facilities of Cedar Lake Park Place and Sycamore Run. This role is also empowered to implement the operating structure and practices of the agency, pursuant policy, including the hiring and delegation of responsibilities and authority to those select persons having jurisdiction over the various departments of the corporation, subject to the approval of the CEO. The Administrator is directly responsible to the CEO. Provides timely updates and report pertinent information to the CEO and Board of Directors upon request. Attends board, committee, and staff meetings as appropriate or directed, and submit periodic written reports outlining activities of departments. Ensures and assumes responsibility for the day-to-day management of the assigned ICF(s). Develops, coordinates, and ensures compliance with all policies, goals, and objectives. Ensures regulatory compliance of programs and staffing. Responsible for the agency's position in securing and/or maintaining applicable criteria for licensing, regulations, and standards, as may be appropriate & desirable. Establishes and maintains professional contracts. Coordinates the planning and positioning of programs & resources. Coordinates analysis of Individuals supported, making, and implementing necessary changes to the appropriate levels of care. Ensures the coordination of departmental directors towards the facility's objectives. Demonstrates knowledge of industry standards and trends. Maintains adequate staffing of qualified employees. Acts as the liaison between all employees and the corporation; and be generally responsible for the actions, conduct, and performance of such employees. Coordinates service relationships with Park Place and Sycamore Run departments. Coordinates staff between Park Place & Sycamore Run and Jericho Road, as needed. Works closely with the Administrator of Jericho Road to coordinate resources between the facilities as necessary and appropriate. Establishes operational budgets and maintains compliance. Ensures adequate census-prospects. Works closely with families, guardians. Communicates and interacts effectively and tactfully with the Individuals, visitors, families, peers, and other personnel. Advocates for the needs of individuals supported at facilities. Performs other duties as assigned. What sets you apart:
Master's degree is preferred. Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Non-Profit Administration, Human Services, or a related field is required. At least five years of applicable experience in long-term care and/or intellectual/developmental disability or related field is required. Applicable experience in administration, management, and direct-line supervision is preferred. Must possess a high level of organization, strategic thinking, and innovative thought. Valid KY Long Term Care Administrator license is required. Qualified Intellectual Disability Professional experience is preferred. Valid driver's license is required. What your typical schedule looks like: Exempt, Salaried. Full-time, 40 hours per week minimum. Weekends, evenings, and additional hours are routinely expected as required by the responsibilities of the role. Requires flexibility to meet the needs of the Individuals and the agency.
