Starting Salary Range:
$24.00-$26.00 per hour, depending on qualifications and experience, plus a comprehensive benefits package

Email resume, references and cover letter to Job Summary The Communications & Administrative Coordinator provides communications, administrative, and operational support to help the Broomfield Housing Alliance (BHA) run smoothly and effectively. This position supports day-to-day administration, organizational communications, meeting and event coordination, technology needs, and bookkeeping and accounting processes. The Coordinator helps keep information organized, communications moving, meetings well coordinated, and routine operational needs on track. The ideal candidate is organized, responsive, detail-oriented, comfortable managing multiple priorities, and willing to take initiative. This position contributes to BHA's mission of driving sustainable housing solutions in Broomfield through service, innovation, and partnership. Duties & ResponsibilitiesCommunications & Outreach
- Support implementation of BHA's communications and community outreach activities.
- Draft, format, schedule, and publish social media content.
- Coordinate development and distribution of organizational newsletters and email communications.
- Assist with website updates and maintenance.
- Gather stories, photos, project updates, and other content from staff and partners.
- Assist with creating and formatting flyers, presentations, announcements, and other communications materials.
- Maintain email distribution lists and communications databases.
- Maintain an organizational communications calendar.
- Monitor social media and general communications inquiries and coordinate responses as appropriate.
- Help ensure communications are timely, accurate, accessible, and consistent with BHA's messaging and branding. Administrative & Organizational Support
- Provide general administrative support to organizational leadership and staff.
- Manage scheduling, calendars, correspondence, files, records, and routine administrative tasks.
- Prepare, format, proofread, organize, and distribute documents and materials.
- Maintain organized electronic and physical records.
- Provides administrative support to housing development and programmatic activities.
- Coordinate office supplies, vendors, and routine operational needs.
- Maintain organizational calendars, contact lists, templates, and administrative resources.
- Assist with onboarding and offboarding employees, board members, contractors, and interns.
- Help develop and maintain efficient administrative systems and procedures.
- Respond to general inquiries and connect people with the appropriate staff member or resource. Meeting & Event Coordination
- Schedule and coordinate board, staff, committee, partner, and community meetings.
- Prepare and distribute agendas, meeting packets, presentations, notices, and supporting materials.
- Coordinate meeting locations, virtual meeting links, technology, refreshments, and other logistics.
- Attend meetings as needed and prepare meeting notes or minutes.
- Maintain meeting calendars and records.
- Support logistics and communications for organizational events, community meetings, and outreach activities. Technology Coordination
- Serve as the primary administrative liaison with contracted IT and technology support providers.
- Coordinate staff technology requests, troubleshooting, equipment needs, account setup, and system access.
- Maintain records and inventories for computers, phones, software, subscriptions, and other technology.
- Coordinate technology needs associated with employee onboarding and offboarding.
- Help identify technology issues and connect staff with appropriate technical support. Bookkeeping & Accounting Coordination
- Coordinate routine administrative functions with BHA's bookkeeper, accountant, and other financial service providers.
- Collect, organize, and submit invoices, receipts, purchase documentation, and other financial records.
- Coordinate documentation needed for monthly accounting, financial reporting, audits, and annual filings.
- Assist staff with routine financial and administrative processes. Other Organizational Support
- Coordinate with vendors, consultants, community partners, and service providers as needed.
- Support special projects and organizational initiatives.
- Identify opportunities to improve administrative and communications systems and efficiency.
- Provide backup administrative support across organizational functions as needed.

- High school diploma or equivalent.
- At least two years of experience in administrative support, communications, office coordination, or a related field.
- An equivalent combination of education, training, and experience that demonstrates the ability to successfully perform the responsibilities of the position may be considered. Preferred Qualifications
- Associate's or bachelor's degree in communications, business administration, public administration, marketing, or a related field.
- Experience providing administrative, communications, office management, or organizational support.
- Experience supporting social media, newsletters, websites, or other organizational communications.
- Experience coordinating meetings, events, vendors, or outside service providers.
- Experience supporting bookkeeping or accounting functions.
- Experience in affordable housing, local government, nonprofit, public-sector, or community-based organizations.

Has regular contact with the public and represents BHA in a professional, courteous, and service-oriented manner. Work Environment Work is performed primarily in a professional office environment using standard office equipment and technology. The position may require occasional travel within the community to attend meetings, support events, coordinate with partners and vendors, and represent BHA at community activities. Work may involve light physical activity, including lifting or carrying materials up to 25 pounds and transporting meeting or outreach materials.
