•e are seeking an experienced, organized, and dependable Director of Administration
• to oversee the day-to-day administrative operations of our real estate office in Starkville, Mississippi. This is an important leadership position for someone who enjoys keeping an office organized, supporting a professional team, and making sure daily operations run smoothly. The Director of Administration will work closely with leadership, real estate professionals, administrative staff, clients, vendors, and other business partners. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator who can manage multiple priorities, maintain confidentiality, solve problems, and help create an efficient and professional office environment. Key Responsibilities Oversee the daily administrative operations of the real estate office and ensure that office procedures run efficiently. Supervise and support administrative, reception, and office support staff. Coordinate schedules, meetings, appointments, calendars, and other administrative activities for leadership and team members. Support real estate agents and staff with administrative needs, documentation, correspondence, and client-related activities. Maintain organized filing systems, records, documents, and confidential business information. Coordinate office supplies, equipment, facilities, vendors, and service providers. Assist with budgeting, invoices, bookkeeping, expense tracking, and other financial administrative functions using QuickBooks or similar software. Help coordinate employee onboarding, training, scheduling, and other administrative HR functions. Assist with office meetings, company events, client events, and other organizational activities. Maintain professional communication with clients, vendors, agents, employees, and business partners. Monitor administrative processes and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and organization. Ensure that office policies, procedures, and applicable requirements are followed. Prepare reports, spreadsheets, correspondence, presentations, and other documents using Microsoft Office and related software. Provide leadership and administrative support to management as needed. Qualifications Previous experience in administration, office management, business operations, or a similar leadership role. Demonstrated experience supervising or coordinating administrative staff. Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook. Experience with QuickBooks, bookkeeping, budgeting, or financial administration is preferred. Ability to handle confidential information professionally and responsibly. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively with agents, staff, leadership, clients, and vendors. Professional and courteous approach when interacting with clients and business partners. Previous experience in real estate, property management, or a professional services environment is preferred but not required.
Pay:
$55.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
