Location:
Downtown Tampa, FL Plona Partners is partnering with a leading Am Law 100 law firm to identify a Billing Clerk to join its growing Finance team in Tampa. This is a strong opportunity for someone looking to build their career within legal billing and gain exposure to the financial operations of a large, sophisticated law firm.
What You'll Do:
- Support the preparation and processing of client invoices and prebills
- Enter billing edits, including time, cost, rate, narrative, and formatting adjustments
- Review billing records for accuracy and help resolve discrepancies
- Assist the Billing team with monthly deadlines and outstanding items
- Prepare reports, spreadsheets, and other billing support materials
- Work closely with Billing Specialists, attorneys, practice assistants, and Finance professionals
What We're Looking For:
- Previous billing, invoicing, accounting, data-entry, or administrative experience
- Legal or professional services experience is preferred, but not required
- Experience with Aderant or another billing/accounting platform is a plus
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and ability to work within deadlines
