•26 DOE Job description: The Billing Specialist is responsible for analyzing, appealing, and resolving insurance claim denials for Durable medical Equipment to ensure accurate and timely reimbursement. This role requires a thorough understanding of insurance requirements, regulatory guidelines, and medical billing procedures. The Billing Specialist ensures compliance with all relevant regulations, investigates outstanding claims, and communicates effectively between payers and patients. This position demands strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to learn and adapt. We are looking to add a friendly, energetic, motivated person to our team of patient care representatives.
Responsibilities :
We are looking for an experienced medical biller; durable medical billing is a plus! An ideal candidate is someone who has a desire to provide superior customer service to our patients as well as maintain billing in a timely and efficient manner.
Billing Responsibilities Include:
Generating Patient Statements Denial Management Dispute Resolution with Insurance and Patients Payment/Refund Processing Cash Posting Investigating Payment/Account Discrepancies Reviewing Mail from
Insurance Preparing Deposits Reconciling Claims Insurance Benefit Verification Additional Skills:

Explanation of Benefits Communication Skills:
Effective verbal and written communication with team members, patients, and insurances
Technical Proficiency:
Skilled in using various insurance portals and medical management software
Time Management:
Efficient in managing time to ensure timely claim reimbursement
Problem-Solving:
