Responsibilities:

Collections:

Follow up on patient and insurance balances, manage denials, and drive appeals Pre-procedure / down-payment fees: Handle professional and facility components accurately Payment processing and patient payment plans Patient communication: Answer billing questions by phone and in person (beyond front-desk scope) Insurance coordination and benefit verification Credentialing / recredentialing support

Reporting:

Pull recurring and ad-hoc reports; review patient ledgers for accuracy Front-desk backup on insurance-related questions Maintain strong knowledge of facility vs. professional charges

What We're Looking For Required:

Hands-on medical billing experience (insurance verification, claims follow-up, denials) Proficiency with billing software and EHR systems Strong organizational skills, accuracy under volume, and ability to manage competing deadlines Excellent communication with patients, payers, and internal staff High integrity handling protected health information

Preferred:
