We're looking for a detail-oriented Medical Billing Specialist to join our team and ensure accurate billing operations while supporting our mission and values. Purpose of the Position Gain real-world experience in high-level billing operations Supportive team environment with shared workload Able to manage tasks in a fast-paced setting Team player with a strong work ethic Key Responsibilities Insurance verification and authorizations Claims processing and follow-up Understanding payer requirements and workflows Working within a multi-clinic billing environment Ensure accurate and timely implementation of billing procedures to support the smooth operation of Integrity Rehab. Communicate professionally with patients, families, and healthcare team members to foster a positive and respectful environment. Support compliance efforts by adhering to company policies, HIPAA regulations, and our comprehensive compliance plan. Contribute to services that align with Integrity Rehab's goals and uphold all relevant healthcare regulations. Oversee and manage the complete billing cycle for medical services. Accurately code procedures and diagnoses using ICD-10 and CPT codes. Monitor and follow up on outstanding payments and medical collections while maintaining strict patient confidentiality. Maintain and update electronic health records (EHR), ensuring accuracy and compliance with documentation standards. Collaborate with clinicians and staff to resolve billing issues and optimize processes. Stay current with industry regulations and coding changes to ensure ongoing compliance.
Qualifications Required:
Strong data entry skills with high attention to detail Experience with managing and organizing medical records Supportive, team-oriented work environment
Preferred:
