Full Job Description Responsibilities:

• Review and analyze medical records to ensure accurate coding and billing
• Assign appropriate ICD-9, ICD-10, and DRG codes to medical procedures and diagnoses
• Verify patient insurance coverage and process claims for reimbursement
• Follow up on unpaid or denied claims and resolve any billing discrepancies
• Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure proper documentation and coding accuracy
• Stay updated on changes in medical coding guidelines and regulations

Experience:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in medical billing and coding
• Proficient in ICD-9, ICD-10, and DRG coding systems
• Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology
• Familiarity with insurance claim processing and reimbursement procedures
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in coding and billing processes
• Excellent communication skills to interact with healthcare providers, insurance companies, and patients
