Position Responsibilities:

Warmly greeting patients and their loved-ones Answering phones and returning calls in a prompt and courteous manner Scheduling appointments and working with office management software Outbound calling to current patients as needed Preparing intake information for new and existing patients Entering and updating all patient information including handling invoices, receiving funds and processing payments. Billing for services and hearing devices Verification of insurance benefits Some hearing aid cleaning and minor repairs as needed Cleaning to ensure safety protocols are being followed Maintaining excellent working relationships with patients and their loved ones, vendors, and colleagues.

Qualifications:

Superior verbal and written communication skills Intermediate level of computer literacy or higher Eye for accuracy and details Welcoming customer service skills Excellent time management and the ability to work independently Professional-level listening and problem-solving skills Strong ability to prioritize, multi-task and stay organized Must have consistent, punctual and reliable attendance At least 1 year of experience in a healthcare setting working with medical insurance billing is required, 3 or more years is preferred Minimum of a high school diploma.

Schedule:

Mon-Thurs 9-5, Fri 9-2 (Closed from 12:00-1:00 p.m. for lunch) This is a temporary position with the potential to be brought on as a full-time, regular employee

Compensation & Benefits :
