Focused Behavior Solutions is seeking an experienced, detail-oriented Billing/Revenue Cycle Manager to oversee the revenue cycle from documentation and authorization through clean claim submission, payment, denial management, and resolution of outstanding balances.

Hybrid Flexibility:
In-Office work days a couple days/week. Additional work from home flexibility may be considered after the employee is fully trained and consistently meeting performance expectations
Training:
Training may be provided for ABA specific billing to a self-starting candidate who learns quickly Key Responsibilities Claims and Billing Operations Scrub and ready claims in our software system, identifying and resolving errors before submission. Oversee the revenue cycle from documentation and authorization through claim submission, payment posting, denial management, and accounts receivable follow-up Review claims for coding, provider, authorization, credentialing, modifier, unit, and payer-specific requirements Submit clean claims accurately and on schedule Identify missing or incorrect information before it becomes a billing or collections problem Maintain a consistent billing workflow so completed services are converted to clean claims quickly Denials and Accounts Receivable Monitor rejected claims, denials, unpaid claims, and aging accounts receivable Correct and resubmit claims and follow issues through resolution Manage denials, appeals, corrected claims, and payer follow-up Review ERAs and EOBs and support accurate payment reconciliation Maintain clear documentation of claim follow-up and resolution Authorization, Credentialing, and Coordination Work closely with Client Coordinators to identify and resolve authorization issues that could affect billing Coordinate provider credentialing and payer enrollment issues that affect claim submission or payment Track payer-specific billing requirements and recurring claim issues Collaborate with Client Coordinators, leadership, and other internal teams to keep the revenue cycle moving Reporting and Process Improvement Monitor revenue cycle performance and prepare or maintain relevant reports Communicate revenue cycle trends, barriers, and recurring issues to leadership Recommend process improvements to reduce denials and improve timely payment Support the development and improvement of billing procedures, workflows, and internal controls Qualifications and Preferred Experience ABA billing experience is strongly preferred. The ideal candidate understands that successful ABA revenue cycle management involves more than submitting claims. This person should be able to recognize when something does not look right, determine why, and work collaboratively to resolve the issue. Experience with the following is especially valuable: Practice-management and billing software ABA CPT codes, including 97151, 97153, 97155, and 97156, and H2020 billing Billing across Nebraska, Washington, and Wyoming Medicaid and commercial insurance billing Claim scrubbing and clean-claim preparation Authorizations and utilization requirements Provider credentialing and payer enrollment Denials, corrected claims, appeals, and accounts receivable follow-up ERA/EOB review and payment reconciliation Revenue cycle reporting and performance tracking Process improvement and cross-functional coordination The Person Who Will Thrive Here You are highly detail-oriented and enjoy finding problems before they become bigger problems. You are comfortable working collaboratively while taking ownership of your responsibilities. Billing, authorizations, credentialing, clinical documentation, and client coordination are interconnected, so this position requires strong communication, follow-through, and sound judgment.
