We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Associate Manager to join our Finance team. This role is responsible for overseeing collections activity, leading a collections team, coordinating recovery and repossession efforts, and driving timely resolution of delinquent accounts across the captive portfolios. You will partner closely with program managers to document requirements and align collection workflows with product and portfolio needs. The ideal candidate thrives in a high-paced environment, balances multiple deadlines and demonstrates strong communication skills, financial acumen, and the ability to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders. What You'll Do Monitor/manage aging reports as well as identify and prioritize accounts requiring immediate collection action for the Captive Track delinquency rates, cure performance, and recovery outcomes Ensure compliance with applicable consumer credit and collections regulations, including the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA) Partner with internal stakeholders and external vendors to execute repossession, enhancement requirements and loss-mitigation strategies Contact customers regarding overdue payments via phone, email, and written correspondence Investigate payment discrepancies and resolve billing disputes in coordination with collection team What You'll Bring Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field, or equivalent experience 2-4 years of experience in Auto finance with hands-on collections or credit experience Portfolio risk management, including delinquency tracking and trend analysis Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple accounts and deadlines simultaneously Bilingual in Spanish, Mandarin, or French a plus Compensation and Benefits Benefits Along with competitive pay, as a full-time Tesla employee, you are eligible for the following benefits at day 1 of hire: Medical plans > plan options with $0 payroll deduction Family-building, fertility, adoption and surrogacy benefits Dental (including orthodontic coverage) and vision plans, both have options with a $0 paycheck contribution Company Paid (Health Savings Accounts) HSA Contribution when enrolled in the High-Deductible medical plan with HSA Healthcare and Dependent Care Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA) 401(k) with employer match, Employee Stock Purchase Plans, and other financial benefits Company paid Basic Life, AD&D Short-term and long-term disability insurance (90 day waiting period) Employee Assistance Program Sick and Vacation time (Flex time for salary positions, Accrued hours for Hourly positions), and Paid Holidays Back-up childcare and parenting support resources Voluntary benefits to include: critical illness, hospital indemnity, accident insurance, theft & legal services, and pet insurance Weight Loss and Tobacco Cessation Programs Tesla Babies program Commuter benefits Employee discounts and perks program Expected Compensation $80,000 - $144,000/annual salary + cash and stock awards + benefits Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
