You will be responsible for engaging with clients via phone, applying industry knowledge of financial regulations, and maintaining confidentiality while handling sensitive information. Duties Manage a portfolio of collections accounts by proactively contacting clients through phone communication and telemarketing techniques to secure payments. Negotiate debt repayment plans while adhering to consumer protection laws and industry regulations, ensuring compliance at all times. Analyze account data using Excel and accounting software to identify delinquent accounts, reconcile discrepancies, and perform account analysis. Maintain detailed records of client interactions, payment arrangements, and account status updates in accordance with financial regulatory compliance standards. Conduct industry research on financial regulations affecting collections practices to stay current on legal requirements and ensure ethical debt collection efforts. Handle confidential information with integrity, respecting client privacy while providing excellent customer service through professional phone etiquette. Experience Strong knowledge of accounting principles including debits & credits, revenue cycle management, and financial concepts relevant to collections. Excellent phone etiquette coupled with telemarketing skills to effectively communicate with clients and negotiate payment solutions. Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information responsibly while maintaining compliance with financial regulatory standards. Strong math skills, attention to detail, and analytical thinking necessary for account analysis and industry-specific financial concepts.
