Responsibilities:
Complete a minimum of 8 detailed submissions per 8-hour shift, adapting swiftly to procedural changes. Review incoming requests, conduct thorough research, and submit accurate changes in compliance with healthcare regulations and business rules. Read and analyze source documents, including practitioner profiles and emails, to enter data into specific fields. Compile, sort, and meticulously verify the accuracy of data before and after system entry. Locate, correct, and report data entry errors by comparing system records with source documents. Maintain organized, up-to-date logs of all daily activities and completed assignments. Manage personal time effectively to meet daily submission and quality goals.
Requirements:
Education:
High School Diploma or GED required.
Experience:
2+ years of related data entry experience, specifically with provider-facing communications or health plans.
Industry Knowledge:
Recent experience in a healthcare-related position is strictly required.
Technical Competency:
Proven proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and general computer applications.
Preferred Background:
Experience with major healthcare network systems (e.g., ABS, NDS, Macess, Portico) and large managed care organizations is highly desirable.
Core Skills:
Excellent verbal and written communication abilities. Uncompromising attention to detail and interpersonal skills. Exceptional ability to work independently and accurately document client information.
