PrideStaff is seeking a detail-oriented, accurate, and efficient Data Entry Clerk to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for entering, updating, and maintaining accurate information in our company databases and digital systems. You will manage incoming data from various sources, verify its accuracy, and ensure records remain organized and accessible. This is a temporary position. Key Responsibilities Input text, numerical, and financial data accurately from source documents into spreadsheets, databases, and internal systems. Verify, cross-check, and correct data errors or discrepancies to maintain database integrity. Scan, convert, and organize physical documents into digital records. Maintain regular data backups and ensure confidential information is secure and handled according to privacy guidelines. Track and organize daily data entry tasks to meet team deadlines. Communicate with supervisors or team members to clarify ambiguous or incomplete information. Perform basic routine office support, such as compiling basic reports or running queries as needed.
Key Qualifications Education:
High school diploma or equivalent (Associate degree or relevant certification preferred).
Experience:
Proven experience in data entry, administrative support, or a related role.
Typing Speed:
Minimum 50-60 WPM with high accuracy (prefer 98%+ accuracy rate).
Software Skills:
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel), Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets), and QuickBooks Desktop & Payroll. Familiarity with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) is a plus.
Detail Orientation:
Sharp eye for spelling, numerical accuracy, and consistent formatting.
Communication:
Clear written and verbal communication skills.
Time Management:
Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
