River Plate, Inc., an established fulfillment and logistics company in Simi Valley, is looking for a reliable, detail-oriented Process Assistant to join our team. This position provides administrative and operational support across our fulfillment operation. We are looking for someone who is organized, accurate, comfortable working with numbers and computers, and most importantly, willing to be part of a team. The ideal candidate takes pride in their work, pays close attention to details, and is willing to step in and help wherever support is needed. Responsibilities Data entry and data management Preparing and processing paperwork Creating Bills of Lading (BOLs), packing slips, and other shipping documents Scanning, filing, and maintaining accurate records Quality-control verification and processing Reviewing information for accuracy and completeness Assisting various departments with paperwork and administrative needs Occasionally assisting our Pick & Pack department with order processing, packing, labeling, or other fulfillment tasks Providing additional operational support during slower periods or when another department needs assistance Because we work as a team, this position requires someone who is flexible and willing to assist outside of their regular day-to-day responsibilities when needed. We believe in keeping our employees productive during slower periods rather than sending them home, and team members may be asked to support other areas of the operation. Qualifications Strong attention to detail and accuracy Good basic math skills Strong written and verbal communication skills Good computer skills and ability to learn new systems Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and email communication Strong organizational and time-management skills Ability to follow procedures and complete work accurately Dependable, responsible, honest, and trustworthy Positive attitude and willingness to learn Ability to work well independently and as part of a team Willingness to assist wherever needed in a fast-paced fulfillment environment Schedule & Location Full-time position On-site in Simi Valley, California Candidates must be able to reliably commute to Simi Valley or relocate before starting work.
