Job Description

Position Overview We are seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented Data Entry & Junior Estimator to join our restoration company. This position is ideal for someone who is comfortable working with computers, entering information accurately, organizing documentation, and learning the restoration estimating process. The successful candidate will assist with entering job information, reviewing project documentation, preparing estimates, communicating with insurance companies and adjusters, and supporting the estimating and operations teams. Experience in the restoration, construction, insurance, or property management industries is a plus, but we are willing to train the right candidate. Key Responsibilities Accurately enter and maintain customer, property, job, and insurance information. Review work orders, job notes, photos, moisture documentation, invoices, and other project records for completeness. Organize and maintain digital job files and documentation. Assist with preparing estimates for water, fire, mold, storm, and other restoration projects. Learn and utilize restoration estimating software. Assist with insurance claim documentation and communication with adjusters. Communicate with project managers, technicians, customers, adjusters, and office staff as needed. Follow up on missing information and help keep jobs moving through the estimating process. Maintain accurate records and ensure information is entered in a timely manner. Perform general administrative and office duties as needed. Qualifications High School Diploma or GED. Strong computer and data-entry skills. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy. Strong organizational and time-management skills. Ability to manage multiple jobs and priorities. Comfortable learning new software and technology. Good written and verbal communication skills. Ability to read and understand basic construction or job-related documentation. Professional, dependable, and able to work independently. Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to learn. Preferred Qualifications But Not Required Previous experience in restoration, construction, insurance claims, property management, or a related field. Knowledge of water mitigation, fire restoration, mold remediation, or general construction. Experience working with insurance claims or insurance adjusters.
Pay:
$20.25 - $25.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
