Data Entry Operator I Description:

Schedule:

Second shift, Monday-Thursday, 3:30 PM-12:30 AM. Summary Under general supervision, you will perform a variety of Service Department duties, primarily service receiving, status updates, and filing. Essential Duties and Responsibilities 1. Receive Streamlight products into the computer system Accurately enter customer contact information (name, address, phone, email). Verify any incomplete or illegible customer-supplied contact information. Accurately record the products and quantities received in each shipment. Alert the Supervisor to any special or unusual requests. 2.

Data:

filing, retrieval, and status Pull up computer records for status inquiries. Relay status to customers by phone. File service records, service quotes, and related paperwork. Retrieve filed records when requested. Periodically purge files for storage. General Duties Assist the Supervisor with assigned tasks. Maintain a neat and orderly work area. Adhere to company policies and practices. Follow safety rules and common-sense safety practices. Keep the Supervisor aware of problems and schedules. Interface effectively with others. Participate in sound quality practices. Perform other duties as assigned.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

None. Requirements High school diploma or GED, or five years of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Data entry experience and typing skills required. Computer literate within company-provided software systems. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to apply basic arithmetic. Ability to apply common-sense understanding to carry out multi-step instructions.

Physical Demands:

Regularly required to stand and to use hands, talk, and hear. Must frequently lift and/or move up to 25 lbs.

Work Environment:
