Data Entry & Accounting Clerk - Parts Distribution CenterCompany Overview Clay Cooley CDJR and MyMoparParts.com are seeking a fast, accurate, and highly organized Data Entry & Accounting Clerk to support our parts distribution center. This position is responsible for processing invoices, entering and verifying information, maintaining accurate records, and assisting with daily accounting and administrative functions. The ideal candidate can work quickly without sacrificing accuracy and is comfortable handling a high volume of transactions in a fast-paced warehouse environment. Responsibilities Enter invoices, purchase orders, credits, receipts, and other transaction data accurately and efficiently Verify part numbers, quantities, costs, customer information, and supporting documentation Review completed entries for errors, missing information, or discrepancies Compare invoices and system records to ensure information matches Maintain organized digital and physical accounting records Update spreadsheets, databases, and internal software systems Assist with invoice reconciliation, account research, and payment documentation Scan, file, copy, and organize invoices and other business documents Communicate with the accounting, parts, warehouse, and management teams to resolve discrepancies Complete multiple assignments while meeting daily deadlines Protect confidential company and customer information Perform other clerical and administrative duties as assigned Qualifications Previous data entry, accounting clerk, invoicing, bookkeeping, or administrative experience preferred Strong typing skills with a high level of speed and accuracy Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and other Microsoft Office programs Strong attention to detail and ability to identify errors or inconsistencies Ability to perform repetitive work accurately throughout the day Strong organizational and time-management skills Ability to prioritize assignments and work independently Comfortable working in a fast-paced parts distribution and warehouse environment Professional communication skills Experience with automotive parts, dealership accounting, inventory systems, or QuickBooks is helpful but not required What We Are Looking For This position is best suited for someone who: Takes pride in producing accurate work Can maintain speed while handling detailed information Double-checks their work before submitting it Is dependable, organized, and consistent Can stay focused while completing high-volume data entry Is comfortable being held accountable for accuracy and productivity Work Environment This is an on-site position supporting the Clay Cooley CDJR and MyMoparParts.com parts distribution operation.
