Responsibilities:

Entering, updating, researching, verifying and/or retrieving data into/from various systems; and ensuring the accuracy and confidentiality of information recorded. Reviews and verifies data entered in the database to ensure accuracy. Handle insurance appeals. May assist with rebills and/or posting payments to accounts. Monitors claims for missing information and authorization/control numbers.

Requirements:

Working knowledge of MS Office and capability of multi-tasking in different databases Excellent communication skills (written and oral) Excellent problem-solving, accuracy and organizational skills High school diploma required. Associate or Bachelor's degree is a plus Previous medical office experience and knowledge of billing procedures is desired This position is based in McKinney, TX and the hours are 8am-5pm Monday-Thursday and 8am-4pm on Friday.
