The management office for the five skilled nursing and rehabilitation facilities owned and operated by the Diocese of Fall River is seeking a full-time, experienced Medicaid Eligibility Specialist to join the team. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Review, approve, and submit Medicaid Financial Eligibility Applications and attached documentation needed for SNFs. Monitor and document the progress of pending Medicaid cases and re-determinations. Respond to denials including attendance of appeals Meet and work with residents/families in a timely manner to ensure compliance with the application process.

Requirements include:

1+ year of Medicaid Financial Eligibility Application experience 3-5 years of nursing home billing operations experience involving third party payers and collection procedures. Must have strong organizational skills with high attention to details. Good verbal and written communication skills.
