Shift:
8:00 AM - 5:00 PM, Monday - Friday Pay $22.84 per hour Key Responsibilities
- Complete enrollments into program-specific IT systems
- Initiate intake for assessments and potential enrollments
- Serve as liaison to partners including County Departments, Managed Care Organizations, Ohio Department of Medicaid, and Ohio Department of Aging
- Monitor systems and databases related to program partnerships
- Research scheduling and enrollment-related eligibility questions in systems such as PIMS, Ohio Benefits, and MITS
- Process physician correspondence across multiple programs
- Communicate with Medicaid Managed Care Plans, Job & Family Services, Adult Protective Services, waiver providers, and Direction Home Assessors on referral status
- Provide guidance and education to hospitals, nursing homes, potential enrollees, and community members regarding enrollment status and processes
- Serve as the primary contact for assigning and tracking assessment visits (Level of Care)
- Maintain consumer electronic files and accurate documentation
- Process satisfaction surveys weekly
- Provide screening overflow coverage as needed
- Back up other Enrollment Specialists with waiver enrollments and eligibility duties
- Participate in team meetings, all-staff meetings, and scheduled 1:1 meetings
- Support process improvement efforts (LEAN activities) and department goals
- Perform additional duties as assigned Minimum Requirements
- High school diploma (or equivalent)
- 1+ years of relevant experience
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to document information accurately and handle confidential records
- Analytical skills to determine next steps based on information reviewed
- Effective communication with internal and external stakeholders Nice to Have Skills
- Telemarketing, business, and/or sales experience
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs, including Excel, Outlook, Word, and Access
- Strong customer service skills
- Ability to multitask
- Well-organized Preferred Education and Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Over 1 year of relevant experience in administrative or enrollment functions Other Requirements
