Position Summary The role of File Clerk reports to the manager of Human Resources. This position is responsible for organizing personnel files, distributing transcribed material, and performing other clerical supportive tasks as assigned. Works with moderate supervision. Essential Position Responsibilities Organize, maintain, and file employee personnel records and HR documentation. Review employee files for completeness. Sort, organize, and maintain confidential HR records in accordance with established filing procedures. Prepare, copy, scan, and distribute HR-related documents as needed. Maintain confidentiality and security of employees and HR information. Provide general clerical and administrative support to the Human Resources department.

Previous experience in a clerical position, preferred.
Work Environment :
Majority of the time is spent standing (up to 80% of work time) and walking and standing for short periods (up to 20% of work time). Performs increased repetitive motions. Qualifications High school graduate or equivalent. Must possess excellent communication skills along with strong customer service orientation. Knowledge of medical terminology with operating room background preferred. Must be able to operate standard office equipment and be computer literate. Demonstrated experience in a clerical setting is required.
