The data collected during the survey will be used to improve transportation in the Nashville Region.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Survey staff will report 15 minutes prior to their assigned bus departure time to: Check in (clock in) with survey supervisor Receive a Tablet which will be used to conduct surveys on Receive an assignment sheet and any special instructions Interviewers will board their assigned bus and approach passengers to get the passengers to take part in the survey using a tablet-based program which we will go over during training. Interviewers will be required to get a minimum of 4 completed and accurate surveys per hour. The surveys will take place while riding on the bus. At the end of each shift, staff will return to their location and return equipment, receive supervisor feedback, and receive a report time and location for the following day.

QUALIFICATIONS

Must be punctual and reliable. Must be able to communicate with strangers (Bus/Rail Passengers) Must be a regular user of smart phones/tablets. Must be familiar with Google maps Must be able to stand on your feet on board a moving bus for up to 7

• 8 hours Must be comfortable asking personal travel and demographic questions

ATTIRE:

Pants or jeans with no rips or tears, collared shirt, closed toed comfortable shoes with rubber soles/good traction. No heels. Client will provide Surveyor vest. Dress for the weather.

REPORT LOCATIONS

Various transit centers, mainly Elizabeth Duff Transit Center at WeGo Central. There is no parking available at the Transit Cente, but free parking is available at designated WeGo Public Transit Park & Ride locations across the Nashville metropolitan area.

SCHEDULE

AM Shift

• Every Monday through Thursday for the next 4-6 weeks (excluding holidays)
• approximately 5:30am-2pm PM Shift
• Every Monday through Thursday for the next 4-6 weeks (excluding holidays)
• approximately 2pm-10:30pm

MANDATORY PAID TRAINING

Tuesday, October 27, 2026

• 8am-12pm (AM Shift) and 1pm-5pm (PM Shift)

PAY:

$22.00 per hour. High performing surveyors may receive pay raises. We pay weekly via direct deposit (W-2 position).
